Privacy policy for the Epsom Windows website
Last updated 26 October 2026.
What this covers
This policy explains what happens to information you give through epsomwindows.com: the enquiry form, a call to 01372 231750, or an email to [email protected].
What we collect
Only what you choose to send: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the number of windows or doors you have in mind, and anything you write about the job. Calls may be logged with the number, time and length.
Why and on what basis
We use these details to answer your enquiry and arrange a survey. The legal basis is your request for us to take steps before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
Who receives it
Your details are passed to one FENSA-registered installer so it can contact you, survey and quote. From that point the installer is responsible for your data under its own privacy notice, which it will give you. We also use email and website hosting providers to receive and store messages. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing by anyone else.
How long it is kept
If an enquiry does not turn into a job, we delete your details 12 months after our last contact with you. If you go ahead, the records of your job are kept for 6 years after the work is finished, because tax rules, the guarantee and possible legal claims all need them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information held about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, or ask for a copy. Email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
